Camden Schools Foundation to Host 15th Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser to Support Scholarships for Camden Graduates

(Camden, NJ) – The Camden Schools Foundation (CSF) announced today that it will host its 15th Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser. The event will be held on September 23, 2020 at 12:00pm at the Pennsauken Country Club, 3800 Haddonfield Road. The fundraiser will support scholarships for Camden students.

“The Camden Schools Foundation is committed to supporting the outstanding graduates of the Camden City Schools. Helping them continue their education is the core of our mission” said CSF Board President, Jack Tarditi.

Over the past 13 years, the Foundation has awarded more than $1M in grants and scholarships throughout Camden. Since the Foundation’s inception, annual golf tournament proceeds, grants and other charitable donations serve as the primary source of funding for student scholarships. The Foundation also supports STEM education for junior high students.

Due to COVID-19, the Foundation recognized this year’s scholarship recipients individually with a special photo opportunity in June 2020. Despite these unprecedented times, the Foundation, sponsors, and volunteers and committed to uplifting and supporting Camden students in their college and career journey.

“We are grateful to our many sponsors who were able to provide funding, even during these difficult times” said Dawn Epstein, the Foundation’s Executive Director. “These students need us now, more than ever and we are so grateful for everyone’s support.”

There is still time to support Camden scholars by becoming a sponsor. For more information about Camden Schools Foundation, sponsorship opportunities, and upcoming events, please visit www.camdenschoolsfoundation.org.
