Camden Schools Foundation Announces Scholarship Recipients

The Camden Schools Foundation (CSF) awarded $75,000 in scholarships to local Camden youth in an event on June 24, 2021. Seniors from 6 local high schools were each awarded a $2,500 scholarship for college expenses. The foundation has awarded more than $1M in scholarships and grants throughout Camden over the past 13 years.

“These students are our heroes. They represent all five public high schools and one renaissance charter school in Camden,” said Jack Tarditi, CSF Board President. “We couldn’t be prouder of all they have accomplished, and we wish them all the success as they move on to college.”

The Foundation handed out the scholarship checks in an outdoor event where board members and volunteers cheered on the students as they posed with balloons and a giant check. “This event reminded us all why we do what we do,” said Dawn Epstein, CSF Executive Director. “Seeing the students and their families as they received their scholarships was so uplifting. We are so proud of them.”

The event was made possible with the support of the City of Camden Department of Public Works, the Camden Parking Authority, and The Camden Store.
