(Camden, NJ) – The Camden Schools Foundation raised over $74,000 at its 15th Annual Golf Tournament held on September 23, 2020 at Pennsauken Country Club. The money will be used to provide scholarships for Camden students.
The event was primarily funded through corporate sponsorships which sent golfers to represent their organizations in the tournament. Honored guests included Katrina McCombs, State Superintendent of the Camden City School District; Camden County Sheriff, Gilbert “Whip” Wilson; Camden County Commissioner Director, Lou Cappelli; and New Jersey State Senator, Jim Beach.
Many local businesses — large and small — showed their support for the students of Camden through their sponsorships. The top Scholarship Sponsors included:
Bell Pharmacy, ESS, FPA Engineers, Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli Tipton & Taylor, New Jersey American Water and Weber Gallagher.
Dinner sponsors were Camden Education Fund, Bowman & Co., Brown & Connery, Subaru of America, and YALE Schools. Cart sponsors were ARH Associates, Camden County Improvement Authority, Catapult Learning, Conner Strong & Buckelew, Pennoni Associates, and South Jersey Federal Credit Union.
